The new categories are: Street Food Packaging, Doublewall Glass Collection, and Large Catering Trays with Lids.

NEW! STREET FOOD PACKAGING

It is estimated that by the year 2017, there will be more than 20,000 food trucks nationwide, featuring cuisines from all corners of the world. Packnwood meets this ongoing trend by introducing their new eco-friendly Street Food line including bamboo leaf boats and wood cones, news-printed paper containers, Kraft bagel boxes and crepe holders, and more – all recyclable and biodegradable.

“As street food continues to grow and we are seeing more and more food trucks in major cities around the country, our designers wanted to create brand new to-go options specifically for this market,” says Merran.

NEW! DOUBLEWALL GLASS COLLECTION FEATURES MINI SHAPES AND SIZES

In addition to the company’s disposable packaging solutions, Packnwood expands its reusable product line with the new Doublewall Glass Collection.The insulated glasses are made from durable Borosilicate glass, which is heat resistant, sturdy, and lightweight. The doublewall construction helps keep hot foods hot, and cold foods cold. Available in 6 mini shapes and sizes (1.7 to 2.7 oz), ideal for serving appetizers and cocktails.

NEW! SUGARCANE TRAYS AND PLATTERS

Packnwood’s already extensive line of Platters & Trays has grown even bigger with the addition of 6 new large size sugarcane platters and trays. Suitable for all types of drop-off catering, the platters are fully compostable, and have well-fitted lids to keep foods safe and secure during travel. Available in 3 new sizes: 11.75” square, 18” round, and 18.5 x 12.5 rectangular.

Also new are the compostable Atlas trays, available in 3 different shapes and sizes, including the one-of-a-kind 14.96 inch square tray with imprints of famous world monuments. Clear recyclable lids are available as well.

“We wanted to expand the versatility of our popular sugarcane collection by creating new  products that offer our clients great design at a great price. We were inspired by the idea of coming up with stylish yet functional designs that not only keep food safe during transport, but can also be used for eye-catching food presentations,” says Merran.
